Many of the University's customs and unusual lexicon can be discovered to roots in the early years of the University's long history, and this booklet looks to the former to find the aboriginal of much that is distinctive in the University of Current Days.

“The brief of Success brings jointly the stories and life experiences of women from across the collegiate University. This exploration gives a scarce occasion to rethink what success means by sharing the contributors’ distinct and very individual life journeys that have lead them to Cambridge.
All the women featured in the book are successful. It is evident however, from the inappropriate less numbers of women in senior roles across the University and in society mostly, that the customs understanding of success can frequent disadvantage women.

By exploring these inspirational stories, this book prompt the reader that talent and distinction can be found across the University and in every walk of life. It gives chance or occasion to consider on how success is recognized and rewarded, giving us scope to redefine and expand the standard and feature we connect with being successful.
